I am both saddened and angered that I must write to inform you that early this morning a swastika was found drawn on the wall of a bathroom in the ELC. We do not know how long this symbol of hate was there — it was about the size of a quarter — but it has since been removed. And though I do not want to give voice to such acts of hate, I feel compelled to again call for unity against this anonymous, cowardly display of intolerance. If you have any information regarding the individual who put it there, please reach out to Public Safety immediately.
We must stand together, bound by our determination to confront and overcome discrimination and hate speech of any kind.
