Bucknell wants all of its students to succeed.

In addition to the programs offered through the Teaching & Learning Center, there are many other resources on campus to support students both academically and emotionally.

Your Professor

If you're struggling in class, make an appointment to talk with your professor.

Departmental Help Sessions

Your department might offer help sessions. Ask your professor or the department's academic assistant. For example, the Math department sponsors calculus help sessions five nights per week and statistics help sessions two nights per week.

Foreign Language "Tables"

Many of the foreign language programs offer a weekly opportunity to speak informally over lunch without the pressures of grades. A teaching assistant always attends these events but with no planned agenda. Students may talk about whatever they want: the only rule is that you speak in the language you are learning.

The Writing Center

If you need someone to work through ideas with you or advise you on your writing, the Writing Center can help. Professional staff and peer tutors are available to work with writers of all skill levels, both on an appointment and a walk-in basis. Writing Center services are confidential and free.
