The Film/Media Studies Program offers a competitive 0.5 credit, non-paid internship for qualified sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in learning about film exhibition and building career skills in that field. The internship focuses on film and digital cinema projection with the goal of developing real world skills in the art and craft of superior film presentation. Interns will be trained to project 35mm film and DCP; after an extended apprenticeship, interns will work independently as projectionists for Bucknell screenings at the Campus Theatre. Additionally interns will assist with a range of duties associated with the coordination of Film/Media Program screenings, as described above. This internship provides valuable experience to those interested in careers in moving image exhibition and film/media production.
