The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center provides free and confidential consulting to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Juniata, Perry, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Montour counties. Bucknell's SBDC is the host of the statewide PASBDC network's specialty Engineering Development Services. Meet our professional staff and learn more about how student consultants gain experience at our center. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am through 4:00pm.The Bucknell SBDC is a member of the network of Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers. Funding support and resources are provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in part by a grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development, by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and by Bucknell University. All services provided on a non-discriminatory basis.

The SBDC offers Entrepreneurial Assessment, Pre-Business and Business Planning seminars for those individuals who want general information on starting a business, or who are in the initial start-up phase.
The SBDC provides an array of services to established businesses including one-on-one consulting in business planning, marketing and promotion, financial analysis, and accounting.
There is no charge for any of the SBDC consulting services. Fees are charged for seminars and workshops to cover costs of instructors, materials, etc.
To receive assistance from the Bucknell SBDC, your business must be located in Union, Perry, Juniata, Montour, Snyder or Northumberland Counties, and fall under the Federal guidelines for a small business which generally is 500 employees or less, and a maximum of $10 million in annual sales.
