A three-day workshop in which engineering faculty are trained to use digital design and fabrication techniques and hardware, and to incorporate related projects in the courses that they teach. While hardware training features prominently in B-FAB for faculty, much of the workshop is dedicated to pedagogical topics, including the development of course projects that result in physical prototypes. This program was launched in 2017 with ** participants, and will continue to 2018. Each participant develops their own curricular project by the end of the workshop, and these projects are archived such that they are accessible to other faculty teaching the same or similar courses. BFAB for faculty is sponsored by a grant from the Kern Family Foundation.
