Joseph Scapellato is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English.  He was born in the suburbs of Chicago, earned his MFA in Fiction at New Mexico State University, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Literature and Creative Writing at University of Houston.  His fiction and nonfiction has appeared in Kenyon Review Online, Post Road, Gulf Coast, North American Review, Unsaid, Harper Perennial's anthology Forty Stories, and other places.  He is Blog Editor of The Collagist.
