Shara McCallum is the author of The Face of Water: New and Selected Poems, This Strange Land, Song of Thieves, and The Water Between Us. Her fifth book of poems, Madwoman, will be published in the US & UK in 2017. Her poems have appeared in publications in the US, the UK, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Israel and have been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, and Romanian. Her personal essays appear regularly in print and on-line. Recognition for her work includes a Witter Bynner Fellowship from the Library of Congress, a National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowship, among other awards. At Bucknell, she is Director of the Stadler Center for Poetry and Professor of English.
