Real World Experiences
"Students learn most deeply about organizing and managing when they engage in compelling experiences coupled with frequent critical reflection and analysis through the lenses of theory and research."
-- Tammy Hiller, Associate Professor of Management
The Bucknell experience offers many opportunities for you to add to your leadership experience. You might be CEO of a start-up company in your first year, consult on a real world product design during your sophomore summer, travel to Nicaragua to work on a Bucknell-sponsored health clinic, go on a two-week fact finding mission to the industrial zones of China, or run a half million dollar investment fund as a senior. Real learning comes from real experiences, and Bucknell offers many avenues - inside and outside of the classroom -- to have those experiences and reflect on them with peers and faculty.
