Physical Sciences Scholars Program

The Physical Sciences Scholars Program awards up to $10,000 each year to students from families of low to moderate incomes who are interested in majoring in the physical sciences, including chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, physics and biophysics.

Recipients will receive notifications along with their admissions decisions.

The award is automatically renewed for second, third and fourth years as long as recipients maintain satisfactory academic progress and meet requirements of the program.

In addition to the scholarship, the program offers exclusive mentorship and networking resources to help students accelerate their transition from Bucknell student to professional scientist.

Physical Sciences Scholars spend their first year on campus in the Discovery Residential College, a themed living-learning community where they'll take part in a common foundation seminar with peers, participate in hands-on activities and visit sites of past scientific breakthroughs together.
