Geoff and Bobbie Mynott are the first couple to ever receive the Alumni Association Award for outstanding loyalty and service to Bucknell.
Geoff Mynott arrived at Bucknell in 1950. A history major, he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and captain of the varsity golf team. He also played basketball and was active with the Christian Association, Booster Club, "B" Club, and intramural sports.
Two years younger, Bobbie Folk majored in commerce and finance. Secretary of the Class of 1956, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and worked for the Bucknellian, WVBU, and Student Handbook. She also was active with the Christian Association and Panhellenic Council.
The president of Conestoga Tool Company, Geoff has been a member of the Bucknell Board of Trustees since 1984. His extensive volunteer efforts cover nearly four decades and include being the national chairman for the Committee on Annual Giving.
Bobbie Mynott has been just as active, including being a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and serving on the alumni volunteer task force.
They are both involved with the Philadelphia Alumni Club and generous benefactors with membership in the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Society.
Of their two children, John Mynott is a graduate of the Class of 1983.
