Michael Rakszawski '08
Software Engineer, Lockheed Martin
As a software engineer in the Space Systems Company business area of Lockheed Martin, Michael supports the development of spacecraft flight software, hardware-in-the-loop testbeds, and software simulators. His experience includes work in the areas of software development, testing, requirements engineering, project scheduling, metrics collection, documentation, and property coordination.
Michael started his career with Lockheed Martin in 2008. He is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and completed an M.S.E. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
Michael is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), for which he was previously the Bucknell University student chapter president. He is also a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society.
Since 2007, Michael has been involved in the Bucknell Engineering Alumni Association (BEAA), first as a student representative, and later as an alumni member of the BEAA board of directors. Currently, Michael serves as the chair of the Off Campus Events committee of the BEAA board of directors.
Michael graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bucknell University in 2008.
