Whether a varsity student-athlete, an intramurals participant or someone looking for a workout, members of the Bucknell community benefit from a wide array of first-class athletics and recreation facilities.
Sojka Pavilion, Kinney Natatorium, Krebs Family Fitness Center the Wiegand Family Squash Center, Davis Gym, Gerhard Fieldhouse and the climbing wall, are all part of our indoor facility, the Kenneth Langone Athletics & Recreation Center.
Outdoor facilities include the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium, Holmes Stadium, Emmitt Field, Graham Field, Depew Field, Becker Field, the Bucknell Golf Club and Bachman Golf Center, varsity tennis courts, the Boathouse, the Bucknell Landing and basketball courts.
Preliminary plans for the Graham Building, which is expected to open in summer 2016, call for a 36,000-square-foot facility to the east of Sojka Pavilion. The Graham Wrestling Center will sit on the second floor and include new locker rooms, practice areas and additional student-centered spaces, including for academic support, health and wellness, and athletic training.

To ensure a safe, positive, and clean environment for all of our Bucknell KLARC members, the Office of Recreation Services asks that all of our patrons follow the Usage Guidelines and Policies for our facilities. The guidelines discuss procedures for proper attire, equipment requests, maintenance and care, facility etiquette, and reporting procedures.

Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium is one of the newest facilities for the Bucknell Department of Athletics and Recreation, and it provides the Bison men's and women's soccer programs with one of the finest soccer-only venues in the country. The natural grass pitch was was completed in 2005 with the remainder of the stadium and grandstand finished in 2007.Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium
The Kinney Natatorium, 50-meter x 25-yard, houses the Swimming, Diving and Water Polo programs for both men and women. It features two movable bulkheads that allow team practices and recreational swimming to occur simultaneously. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide a venue capable of attracting events for crowds of students and community fans, seating for up to 500 spectators.Kinney Natatorium
The Krebs Family Fitness Center contains state-of-the art cardiovascular and strength training equipment. Featuring over 50 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, pin-select resistance machines, Hammer strength and free weights. The facility is open to all students, faculty and staff.
The Berger Family Weight Room, sits on the former site of Freas-Rooke Pool, and is used for instructional free-weight training and varsity workouts
Designed and constructed by the Bucknell Outing Club, the Climbing Wall features over 1200 square feet of indoor climbing. Located in the southwest corner of Gerhard Fieldhouse, "the wall" measures 22' tall and 32' wide and features a wide array of bouldering and lead routes.
Bucknell's two-level ergometer room was constructed in the former bleacher seating area adjacent to the Berger Family Weight Room, inside the Kenneth Langone Athletics and Recreation Center in 2011. Bucknell dedicated a new synthetic turf field for its field hockey and women's lacrosse teams. Named in honor of lead donor William Graham '62, the artificial turf facility, Graham Field, located at the West Fields complex, provides a state-of-the-art playing surface.Graham Field at Holmes Stadium
Depew Field and the neighboring Becker Field, home of the Bison softball team, have undergone major renovations in recent years. In the fall of 2009, synthetic FieldTurf was installed at Depew Field. The new playing surface features the latest in-filled, grass-like artificial turf, manufactured by FieldTurf and designed to meet baseball specifications.
