Karen Landis, Associate Director of Athletics for Recreation Services

Karen joined the Recreation Services team in August 2013. On staff at Bucknell for the last eight years, first in the Dean of Student's office as assistant director of fraternity and sorority affairs from 2005-08, and from 2008-2013 in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations as an assistant director in charge of major campus events.

From 2000-03, Landis was assistant director of athletics for business and finance at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif. She also has athletics experience working in the ticket office at VCU in 1999-2000 and as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Davidson in 1999. A 1995 graduate of Drexel University, she was a four-year member of the Dragons' varsity women's lacrosse team. She earned a master's degree in sports leadership and administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. Karen and her husband Tim reside in Lewisburg with their four children: TJ, Jordan, Jackson and Charlie.

Angelia Bixler, Membership Services and Communication Design Assistant

Angelia is a Graphic Designer who joined the Bucknell Athletics and Recreation staff in April 2017. She is a Kutztown University graduate with a degree in Communication Design, Advertising Concentration. Her experience includes advertising and graphic design for The Central Penn Business Journal and Central Penn Parent Magazine, Harrisburg, PA as well as freelance design. She is the proprietor of Creative Ramblers Pottery. She provides membership support to the Kenneth G. Langone Athletic and Recreation Center and Communication Design support to Bucknell’s Varsity Athletic Programs.

Jarrin Campman, Assistant Director of Recreation Services

Jarrin is a 2013 graduate of Lycoming College, where he was also a four-year member of the Warrior football team. He earned his Master’s degree in Sport Management Studies with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Jarrin joined the Bucknell University Recreation Services team in August 2016. He has a passion for fitness and sports, which consume most of his free time.

Lesia Schinnerer, Tennis Instructor

Lesia played 1st singles and 1st doubles for the University of Richmond and was ranked top 10 in the NCAA doubles her senior year. She competed professionally and earned singles and doubles WTA ranking. Prior to coming to Bucknell, Lesia worked as a tennis pro at a Huron Valley Tennis Club and Travis Pointe Country Club in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Will Montgomery, Personal Fitness Trainer

Will knew he wanted to work in fitness since he was 16 years old and started teaching fitness classes at his local gym. This started him on a path that led him to Temple University where he studied Exercise and Sports Science, ran Division I Track and was President of the Karate Club. Will is certified as an ACSM personal trainer and Level 1 Olympic Weightlifting Coach.

PJ Steiner, Personal Fitness Trainer

PJ currently holds a personal training certificate from American Council of Exercise and is on path to receive his Master's in Exercise Science.

Whether you are looking to become healthier, get back in shape, or any other goal, PJ is able to design fun and exciting workouts that fit your needs. PJ has experience training clientele of all ages and provides many different techniques to make sure you get the most out of your workouts.

Logan Koch, Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer

 Logan is employed by Geisinger Health Systems as a Certified Athletic Trainer and is responsible for providing athletic training and injury care services to club sport student-athletes at Bucknell. In 2017, he graduated from Clarion University with an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. In 2018, he received a Master's degree of Exercise Science with a Concentration in Rehabilitation Science from California University of Pennsylvania Logan spends part of his day at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA within the Sports Medicine, Orthopedics Department. He is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer. He works part time at the Sunbury YMCA specializing in chronic injury rehabilitation.

Mamie Murphy, Intramural Coordinator

Mamie is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Divinity. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where she played on the Women's Rugby Team and became an amateur boxer. She has been in the health and wellness field for over 10 years, in roles such as a personal trainer at Gold's Gym from 2010 - 2014 and as an intern at Faith Health at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center from 2013-14. She also served as a Preventive Health Coordinator at the YWCA in Winston Salem, NC from 2014-2016. She also spent time at Salem Academy as a teacher and volleyball coach from 2014-2017. Her interest areas of study are in the intersections of faith and health.

Liz Olaf, Personal Fitness Trainer

Liz is currently a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has a background in teaching group fitness classes including Spinning, HIIT, and Bootcamp.
