This program will knock your socks off! How do the Wizard of Oz, magic, cars and puppets help us to understand diversity? We are caught in times of political correctness where "saying" the right thing is worlds away from "doing" the right thing. Considered one of the most inclusive sessions on diversity, you will explore race, gender, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic class, religion, ability and size discrimination in an interactive format.

Listen to blues music from The Reverend Blue Jeans (featuring Mike Harvey '88). Enjoy a performance by Bucknell's comedy improv group, We Brake for Nobody. Most importantly, you'll mingle with your fellow transfers and the Class of 2017 as you immerse yourself in Bucknell's campus culture.

Convocation officially opens the academic year at Bucknell. After Convocation, you will process up to the Academic Quadrangle for the traditional candlelighting ceremony.
