Renée Cardone is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work. She also has a Master's degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics.

Renée collaborates with students in working toward their improved functioning, whether that be academically, interpersonally, or in some other arena of their lives. She employs an integrative approach to counseling that draws principally from among the following theories and techniques: psychodynamic, systems, developmental, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and short-term solution-focused. Consistent with her education and training in social work, she believes an understanding of the "person in environment" (i.e., social, cultural, institutional, etc.) is central to her work with students.

In addition to her training and experience in clinical social work, Renée is also a trained mediator.
