Favorite spot on campus: Third floor of the Bertrand Library. As a student, this was my favorite study spot. In the mornings, the sun comes through the giant windows, and it's a quiet, peaceful spot to spread out your books and notes.
Favorite Bucknell moment: Candlelighting. The night before the first day of classes, the first-year class will gather on the Malesardi Quad for a candlelighting ceremony. Then, the night before graduation, your class does the same thing. I loved thinking back to where I had been as a first-year and all I had experienced and all the amazing relationships I had built over four years.
Top tip for applicants: Don't forget to finish high school! It's so easy to get swept up in the process of researching and applying to colleges and to lose sight of what's happening right now. And the "right now" (your high school experience) is what will inform your college search, application and ultimately your best choice for college. Enjoy and engage in what's important to you!
