The intent of this is to reduce the quantity of indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating and/or harmful to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. Composite wood and agrifiber products used on the interior of the building contain no added urea-formaldehyde resins. Composite wood and agrifiber products are defined as particle board, medium density fiberboard, plywood, wheatboard, strawboard, panel substrates and door cores.
All paints, flooring, adhesives and sealants are low-VOC emitting.

Architectural paints and coatings applied to the interior walls and ceilings as well as the flooring systems do not exceed the VOC content limits established by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)
