Our goal is to build on Bucknell athletics’ strong foundation and successful traditions to ensure that current and future Bucknell students can achieve tremendous levels of success. These new and improved facilities represent a huge step in accomplishing that goal. — John Hardt, Director of Athletics
State-of-the-art facilities are critical to our ability to attract the best coaches and student-athletes and are essential for achieving excellence in athletics. Throughout the last decade, the athletics facility improvements on campus have been substantial, as evidenced by the 2003 opening of the Kenneth Langone Athletic & Recreation Center and the West Fields complex across Route 15. Most recently, the University completed the new Golf Instruction and Practice Center at the Bucknell Golf Club.
Donor support helps ensure that all Bucknell students have access to the finest fitness facilities and that our student-athletes are equipped for success, while supporting the overall improvement of the campus environment. The comprehensive campaign provides opportunities to build upon our recent improvements to athletics facilities.
