Global Education Advisor
Anita advises students in the Freeman College of Management and economics. Hailing from Iowa, she ignited her passion for global learning when she studied in Wales for a year as an undergraduate. That led her to explore living and traveling overseas. She worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer and Trainer in Honduras with Women in Development and Rural Development for four years and has traveled in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe. She holds a master’s degree in International Administration from the SIT Graduate Institute and worked for AFS Intercultural in New York City before coming to central Pennsylvania. She has worked at several universities in education abroad, with international students, internships, career development and student advising. In addition to advising students at Bucknell she coordinates returnee programming, the Global Ambassador Program, and the Bucknell in London program.
