The Budget Management Office supports day to day procurement processes for L&IT including purchasing approvals and vendor contract management as well as the annual capital and operating budget processes. The annual and year-over-year financial information provided by the office directly informs L&IT strategic planning and assessment processes and reports to the Chief Technology Officer
L&IT Budget and Procurement Manager
The Business Intelligence team is responsible for implementation of and maintenance goals of the Bucknell University Intelligence (BUI) program as outlined in its founding presidential charge. These goals include a comprehensive shift in how Bucknell stores, accesses, and uses data to assess and inform past, present, and future university operations and planning. The team's business intelligence analysts share data modeling and analytic authoring expertise across campus through direct work with data stewards and Institutional Research. The Business Intelligence team reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Classroom and Event Technology Support provide media, computing solutions for campus labs and classrooms. The team also supports special events on campus. The Classroom and Event Technology Support Team reports directly to the Director of Technology Services.

Collection Development and Access Services supports the development of the library's collections and access to those collections. We provide collection management, coordination and strategic planning to support the curricular and scholarly information needs of the Bucknell University community. Development of library collections at Bucknell is a collaborative effort involving librarians, faculty members and staff. In addition to managing both the print and electronic resources available for research, we provide access to our collections via the library catalog and other database vendors. We also provide access to the collections of other libraries via interlibrary loan. Acquisitions, Cataloging, Circulation, Electronic Resource Management, Equipment for Check-out, Interlibrary Loan, Library Systems and Serials are the individual work units that are comprised under this umbrella.
Head of Discovery and Access Services
The Development team manages the design, construction, and testing of new and upgraded systems and services as well as the integration of these systems and services across Bucknell. Development team members are skilled in a variety of areas including data analysis, higher education functional processes, and application development. Example systems and services include, functional area Banner support, myBucknell, Bucknell Mobile Web, and custom online forms development. The ES Development team reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
Assistant Director, Enterprise Systems Development
The Operations team manages the day to day activities required to support and maintain our many auxiliary systems and databases. These include the ERP (Banner), business intelligence tools, dining, ticketing, payment processing, travel, procurement and other custom and vendor-based applications. This work also includes coordination across ES Development and Operations to triage 2nd and 3rd tier support requests and serve as the control point for all changes entering the production environment. The ES Operations team reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
Assistant Director, Enterprise Systems Operations
ITEC (Instructional Technology Enhancing the Curriculum) supports faculty and student use of technology in teaching and research, with a particular focus on the application of technology to improve teaching and learning. ITEC services range from support for Moodle, (our course management system); support for the curricular integration of technology; digital scholarship; implementation of emerging instructional technologies; developing learning objects, Web sites, and other technology-based tools for course-related and other scholarly activities; teaching students specialized technologies related to course projects (for example, video editing, GIS), and many others.

Networking and Telephony provides support for the campus network infrastructure and security, as well as phone switch and phone and voicemail services, and wiring projects. The Networking and Telephony team reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

The P&IM group plans, manages, and aids in the assessment of projects and initiatives from across the organization. Their work includes the initial evaluation and routing of new requests, cross-L&IT portfolio management, project management, and facilitation of project-based administrative and academic governance. The goal, progress and outcome data the team capture as part of portfolio management directly inform L&IT strategic planning and assessment processes. P&IM reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
Associate Director, Project and Initiative Management
Research Services provides a variety of information services including reference assistance at the Library Services Desk and Research Help consultation area. Librarians are also assigned to each academic subject areas and are available for individual appointments to help with information research. Librarians work with faculty to provide class sessions teaching information skills to students. Research Services is also responsible for building the Library's collections of books, journals, government documents, databases, DVDs, etc.

Special Collections/University Archives is responsible for the collection, preservation, security, organization, and availability of rare and archival materials to support the academic mission and administrative functions of the University.

Systems Integration administers and maintains our many Unix, Linux and Windows servers. This group is also responsible for the administration of many core services including email, login and authentication systems, and the network file storage systems. The Systems Integration team reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Technology Support provides front-line computing support to faculty, staff and students via the Tech Desk, Tech Desk Advanced Support (TAS) and the call center (located in the Computer Center). The Technology Support team reports directly to the Director of Technology Services.
