PPE & Personal Safety
Ensuring the health and safety of the campus community is everyone's responsibility. As we return to life and work on Bucknell's campus, it's important that faculty and staff follow key health and safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Always wear a face covering in indoor shared spaces and outdoors when you cannot keep more than 6 feet from others (facemask policy, login required)
- Practice physical distancing (social distancing policy, login required)
- Keep your workspace clean and sanitary
- Report illness or possible exposure to COVID-19 to Human Resources immediately
- Limit your time in shared spaces and work remotely when possible
Information about important personal safety changes and how to order personal protective equipment can be found below.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Cleaning Supplies
All employees will be provided with a washable cloth mask. Branded cloth masks can also be ordered through the Print, Publications & Mail online storefront (login required).
In order to distribute additional personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning supplies efficiently, each department/office has been assigned a point of contact who will order supplies for their department/office weekly through Bucknell Facilities. Contact this person to order the following supplies:
- Masks (disposable non-woven three-ply ear loop)
- Transparent masks
- Gloves (disposable, one size fits all)
- Face shields
- Hand sanitizer (4 oz. bottles)
