Entertainer Ernie G will give the talk, "Latino Edutainment - Educating and Entertaining with a Latino Flavor!" on Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in Room 268 of the Olin Science Building at Bucknell University.
The talk, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by Chi Phi fraternity as part of their annual diversity lectureship series.
Ernie G is a young, Latino entertainer who gives his own interesting perspective on diversity, mixing together humor and personal stories that closely relate to college students.
He has appeared on Comedy Central's Make Me Laugh, BET's Comic View, Ed McMahon's Next Big Star and Sí TV's Funny is Funny. He is one of the original starts of Galavision's hit comedy show Que Locos, hosted by George Lopez. He is appearing on MTV Tr3's Lost Super Icons.
Ernie G has travelled the country, performing at schools, organizations, and major corporations including Disney, Pepsi-Co, General Mills, U.S. Armed Forces, National Council de la Raza, Latin American Educational Foundation, and the Hispanic College Fund.
He was honored by the City of Los Angeles with the first-ever Mario Moreno Cantínflas Award.
