Interested in gardening? The Lewisburg Community Garden is accepting plot applications for the 2014 summer season.

The garden is located at the corner of North Water Street and St. Anthony Street in Lewisburg.

The 40 garden plots, with water access on the site, will be available April 19 to Oct. 31. The fee for site usage is $20 per summer season.

If more than 40 applications are received by Friday, April 11, there will be a lottery held to determine who receives a space.

Three types of plots are available: 6x16 foot raised beds, 10x14 foot in-ground beds, and 4x8 foot raised beds. Raised beds will be given to individuals with physical needs first.

Participants who are chosen to receive a site will need to pay the garden fee and sign a garden contract before beginning to garden on their plot.

Applications are online on the garden website: https://sites.google.com/a/bucknell.edu/lcg/home/individual_plots.

Applications are also available in paper form at the Office of Civic Engagement of Bucknell, and at the garden in a box on the front gate.
