Bucknell will welcome the Class of 2021 and transfer students to campus for New Student Orientation beginning with Move-In Day on Wednesday, Aug. 16, and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 20.

Designed to help students transition to life at Bucknell, the five-day program focuses on the scholarship, tradition and sense of community that the University is known for. Incoming students will learn about campus with the help of orientation leaders, residential advisers, Residential College junior fellows and professional staff. They also will learn more about academic opportunities by meeting with faculty, both in groups and individually, as part of the extensive program schedule.

Some students will arrive on campus early to take part in the fall athletics preseason or one of Bucknell's pre-orientation programs: International Student Orientation, Bucknell Wilderness Experience, Bison Leadership Involvement & Connections, Arts First, Ramp Up! and Backstage Bucknell, which is part of the Engineering Success Alliance

Orientation will end Sunday, Aug. 20, with the traditional Convocation Dinner and Convocation and Candlelighting.

Follow Orientation activities on Bucknell's social media channels — Facebook, Twitter and Instagram — and through the Class of 2021 page.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 21.
