The 50-piece Munich Symphony Orchestra will present a repertoire of Spanish and French works including Bizet, Rodrigo and Massanet on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m., at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts. The performance is sponsored, in part, by Sam and Nancy Craig.

Tickets for the performance are $35 for adults, $28 for seniors 62+, $25 for youth 18 and under, $25 for Bucknell employees and retirees (limit 2), $10 for Bucknell students (limit 2), and $25 for non-Bucknell college students (limit 2). Tickets can be purchased online at the Campus Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000.

Tickets are also available in person from several locations including the Weis Center lobby (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the CAP Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).

Joining forces with renowned guitarist Pepe Romero and the timeless Romeros Quartet, the Munich Symphony Orchestra will present a repertoire of Spanish and French music including Georges Bizet: Philippe Entremont's excerpts from Carmen Suites No. 1 and No. 2, Joaquín Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez (Pepe Romero, Guitar Soloist), Joaquín Rodrigo: Concierto andaluz (The Romeros, Guitar Quartet), and Jules Massanet: Le Cid: Ballet Music.
Philippe Entremont will serve as the Orchestra's Honorary Conductor for this tour. Entremont has directed the greatest symphony orchestras of Europe, Asia and America. One of the most recorded artists of all time, Philippe Entremont has appeared on many labels, including CBS Sony, Teldec and Harmonia Mundi, and he has garnered all of the leading prizes and awards in the industry.
