Two major musical acts are coming to the area for one night of rap and indie rock at Bucknell University. Wiz Khalifa and Walk the Moon will perform Friday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. in Gerhard Fieldhouse (doors open at 7 p.m.). Tickets will be available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, at $40 per ticket.

A rapper, songwriter and actor, Wiz Khalifa has released five studio albums including his most recent, Blacc Hollywood, in fall 2014. His singles "Black and Yellow" and "See You Again" reached number-one on the Billboard Hot 100, and 2008's "Say Yeah" charted on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks. Khalifa collaborated on the 2011 film soundtrack Mac & Devin Go to High School with Snoop Dogg and has released two EPs. He is a featured artist on more than two dozen singles. He previously performed at Bucknell in fall 2011.

Walk the Moon debuted in 2010 with I Want! I Want!, which included the "Anna Sun," a track that played on alternative radio. In 2012, the band released its first major-label album, Walk the Moon, followed by Talking Is Hard in December 2014. This most recent album includes the single "Shut Up and Dance," which reached number-one on Billboard's Rock Songs and Alternative Songs charts and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Bucknell's Fall Concert is presented by the Bucknell Concert Committee. Purchase tickets online or visit a campus box office in the Elaine Langone Center or Weis Center for the Performing Arts. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
