Pianist Ernest Ragogini will perform at Bucknell University on Thursday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Rooke Recital Hall. This concert is free and open to the public.
Ragogini has performed to critical acclaim as a soloist and collaborative artist all over the world. He has also appeared as a convention artist, adjudicator and panel moderator, and has also conducted master classes for various Music Teachers National Association conferences. The chair of the music department at Notre Dame of Maryland University from 1979 to 2004, he is currently a professor of music at the university. He received the Mullan Distinguished Teacher Award in 1988, the coveted Mission and Ministry Award from the School Sisters of Notre Dame Order in 2004, and the President's Medal in 2007.
