The Grammy-winning Maria Schneider Orchestra will perform on Friday, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets for the performance are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 62+, $15 for youth 18 and under, $5 for Bucknell employees and retirees (limit 2), $10 for Bucknell students (limit 2) and $15 for non-Bucknell college students (limit 2). Tickets can be purchased online at the Campus Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000.

Please note that tickets are available in the main auditorium only. The balcony will be closed.Tickets are also available in person from several locations including the Weis Center lobby (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the CAP Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Critics have hailed Maria Schneider's music as "evocative, majestic, magical, heart-stoppingly gorgeous, and beyond categorization." Her recent collaboration with her orchestra and David Bowie resulted in his singlecalled, "Sue (Or In A Season of Crime)," and brought her a 2016 Grammy (BestArrangement, Instruments and Vocals). Schneider and her orchestra also received a 2016 Grammy for their latest work, The Thompson Fields (Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album).

The Maria Schneider Orchestra has performed at festivals and concert halls worldwide. She herself has received numerous commissions and guest-conducting invites, working with over 85 groups from over 30 countries.
