As You Like It is a glorious comedy of love and change.
Plot With her father the Duke banished and in exile, Rosalind and her cousin Celia leave their lives in the court behind them and journey into the Forest of Arden. There, released from convention, Rosalind experiences the liberating rush of transformation. Disguising herself as a boy, she embraces a different way of living and falls spectacularly in love.
About NT Live NT Live productions are screened in more than 2,000 venues worldwide. Cameras are brought to a theatre one evening, and that live performance is seen via satellite throughout the world. U.S. theatres generally delay the broadcasts until the evening, or show the production on different days. These encore screenings are the original live satellite feeds; no editing takes place between the time of transmission and showing.
Academy Award-winner Martin McDonagh's new play takes place in a small pub in the northern English town of Oldham, where Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what is the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they have abolished hanging? Among the cub reporters and pub regulars dying to hear Harry's reaction to the news, his old assistant Syd and the peculiar Mooney lurk with very different motives for their visit.
