The National Theatre Live (NT Live) spring 2016 series at Bucknell University will conclude on Sunday, May 15, at 1 p.m. at the Campus Theatre in Lewisburg with a screening of Hangmen, the new play by Martin McDonagh, winner of the Olivier Award and Academy Award.

Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $5 for students with an ID or $10 without. Tickets are only sold at the door and patrons must be at least 15 years old. Campus Theatre doors open at 12:30 p.m.

Hangmen was the winner of the 2016 Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Best New Play.

In his small pub in the northern English town of Oldham, Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what is the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they have abolished hanging? Among the cub reporters and pub regulars dying to hear Harry's reaction to the news, his old assistant Syd and the peculiar Mooney lurk with very different motives for their visit.

About NT Live
NT Live productions are screened in more than 2,000 venues worldwide. Cameras are brought to a theatre one evening, and that live performance is seen via satellite throughout the world. U.S. theatres generally delay the broadcasts until the evening, or show the production on different days. These encore screenings are the original live satellite feeds; no editing takes place between the time of transmission and showing.

The National Theatre screenings are sponsored by the Bucknell Departments of Art & Art History, Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies, English and Theatre & Dance, along with the Bucknell Arts Council, the Bucknell Innovation Group and the Office of the Provost.
