The Bucknell Institute for Public Policy (BIPP) will host its next Pizza & Policy lunch forum on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Academic West event lounge, located on the first floor of Academic West. This forum is titled "Immigration Policy and the 2016 Elections" and is free and open to the public.
The panel will feature three Bucknell professors discussing current U.S. policies with respect to immigration; the economic, cultural and philosophical issues behind immigration policy; and the importance of immigration in the 2016 election. Panelists include Professor Elizabeth Durden, sociology & anthropology, who recently received a grant for a study related to states' immigration policies, Professor Doug Hecock, political science and Professor Michael James, political science..
This lunch panel is part of the BIPP's fall election series — a sequence of evening lectures, Pizza & Policy lunch panels and other opportunities for people to be engaged in the political process.
