Renaissance sacred music group The Tallis Scholars will give a concert at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 62+, $15 for youth 18 and under, $15 for Bucknell employees and retirees (limit two), $10 for Bucknell students (limit two) and $15 for non-Bucknell college students (limit two). Tickets can be purchased online at the Campus Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000.
Tickets are also available in person from several locations including the Weis Center lobby (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the CAP Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
The group will perform Byrd's Laetentur Caeli, Salve Regina, and Vigilate, Taverner's Missa Western Wynde, Davy's Salve Regina and Ferrabosco's Lamentations.
Founded in 1973, The Tallis Scholars is a leading exponent of Renaissance sacred music and gives about 70 performances each year in both sacred and secular venues around the world.
Please note that chamber seating will be offered for this performance in the main auditorium only; the balcony will be closed.
