The Bucknell University Choir and Camerata, under the direction of Professor Beth Willer, music, will hold two concerts on Thursday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 22, featuring the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Both concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. The Thursday performance will be held in Rooke Recital Hall, the Saturday show in the Weis Center. Both are free and open to the public.

Thursday's performance will also feature works of Schutz, Monteverdi, Cavalli and Purcell, a guest vocal quintet, as well as the inauguration of Bucknell's new Klop continuo organ with guest organist and harpsichordist Dylan Sauerwald. Saturday's concert will feature Bach's Magnificat BWV 243, with additional works by Part, Parsons and Tavener. The performance will also include guest soloists: soprano Sarah Brailey, mezzo-sporano Thea Lobo, countertenor Bryan DeSilva, tenor Owen McIntosh, bass Paul Max Tipton, organist Sauerwald, cellist Sarah Stone, and an orchestra of Susquehanna Valley musicians.
