The Bucknell University theatre department will perform D.W. Gregory's play Radium Girls over three different shows on Oct. 23, 24 and 26, at 7:30 pm at Tustin Studio on campus. Tickets are $10 or $5 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased at the door.

The play takes place in 1926 and examines the ethics behind experimental science and profit margins and the extent to which America's desire for innovation can outweigh the danger to its very heart and soul. Directed by Professor Anjalee Deshpande Hutchinson, the play's cast and crew features 11 Bucknell students that currently have a total of six different majors among them.

Following the show, a talkback will take place featuring Bucknell Professors Jennifer Thompson (history), James Baish (biomedical engineering) and Nikki Young (women's & gender studies).
