The Lorelei Ensemble, a professional women's vocal ensemble based out of Boston, will be in residence at Bucknell University the week of Oct. 25 and will present two concerts on Oct. 28 and Oct. 30. The concert on Oct. 28 will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Rooke Recital Hall and the concert on Oct. 30 will be held in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts, also at 7:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.

The group was founded by Bucknell's new Director of Choral Activities, Beth Willer, in 2007. It has commissioned and premiered over 40 original works and performed other reconstructed works of the Medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque periods. Composed of nine women, the Lorelei Ensemble regularly performs on concert series throughout the country, both as a full ensemble of nine voices and as a combination of smaller chamber ensembles.
