Harp virtuoso Edmar Castaneda will perform as part of the Weis Center's season on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Campus Theatre in downtown Lewisburg.

General admission tickets for the performance are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 62+, $5 for youth 18 and under, $5 for Bucknell employees and retirees (limit 2), free for Bucknell students (limit 2) and $5 for non-Bucknell college students (limit 2). Tickets can be purchased online at the Campus Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000.

Tickets are also available in person from several locations including the Weis Center lobby (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the CAP Center Box Office, located on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Castaneda has quite literally taken the world stage by storm with the sheer force of his virtuosic command of the harp, revolutionizing the way audiences and critics alike consider an instrument commonly relegated to the "unusual" category. His latest recording "Double Portion," which features Miguel Zenon, Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Hamilton de Holanda on Mandolina, has caught the attention of reviewers and his legion of fans.

This performance was made possible with support from Chamber Music America's Presenter Consortium for Jazz grant program, with generous funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
