Reflections on the Sustainability Symposium: Challenges and Opportunities to Carbon Neutrality

The conversation about Bucknell's role in combatting climate change taken up at the recent Sustainability Symposium will continue Thursday, April 13, from noon to 12:50 p.m. in Room 112 of the Academic West Building (view campus map).
The event is free and open to the public. A pizza lunch will be provided.
Siegal is drawn to the challenge of converting the forms of energy in the environment to the forms of energy we use in our society. He teaches classes in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, solar energy technologies and senior design.
Jansson has developed multiple electric power systems courses, renewable energy systems courses and sustainable design in engineering pedagogy. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey who consults on all major aspects of electric power systems and renewable energy.
