LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will offer the workshop, "Marketing and Networking Strategies for Small Businesses," Thursday, May 5, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the SBDC Education Center, Room 207, of the Chamberlin Building on Market Street in Lewisburg.
Rhonda Campbell, founder and owner of Jarhon Communications in New Bloomfield, will lead the workshop, discussing the differences between marketing, advertising and public relations; the mindset shift necessary to effectively market a business; the critical importance of relationship building; marketing as an integrated part of daily activities; and strategies for marketing a business.
Campbell has more than 25 years of communication experience in training, coaching and management.
The cost to attend is $35 per person; the fee includes one-year subscriptions to Inc. and Susquehanna Business Life magazines. Registration is required as seating is limited.
