LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University will present the annual student art exhibition April 15 through May 3.
Located in the main gallery, the exhibition will feature a broad range of media including drawing, painting, photography and video, printmaking and sculpture as well as interdisciplinary works completed as senior projects.
Variety of art works
Created by art majors and graduate student assistants, the artwork in the exhibition features advanced student projects and many selections from courses in painting, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, photography, video and installation.
"The inspiring work by studio graduate assistants Justin Sorensen, Annike Myers and Aaron Meyers gives undergraduate students a chance to see developing young professionals prepare for a career in the arts," said Cynthia Peltier, operations manager of the Samek Art Gallery.
"The exhibition represents the most dynamic work produced by Studio Art students over the past year and, as always, it promises to be an engaging and diverse display of our students' talent," she said.
