LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will offer the workshop, "Visual Merchandising and Display for Main Street Businesses," Thursday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Mifflinburg Bank Community Room, 250 E. Chestnut St., in Mifflinburg.
Main Street Manager Cherie Ross will lead the discussion of ways small business owners can maximize the effects of their storefront and interior displays. The workshop will examine elements of color and texture, line and composition, light and lighting, and window and interior display techniques.
Ross has worked with small businesses for more than 10 years following her career as vice-president of marketing and public affairs for C. Mason Ross Associates, Inc. Her background includes grant writing and administration, nonprofits, survey research and polling, and regional education for a national skilled nursing/long term care company.
