Many awards and prizes, including the National Endowment for the Arts, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the Belin, Surdna, Presser, and Ford Foundations. Has received Bucknell's highest award for inspirational teaching; students have completed graduate performance degrees at schools such as Peabody, Eastman, and the New England Conservatory.
