CDC alumni and parent volunteers engage with students and alumni in several important ways throughout the year; including informational interviewing and networking conversations, educational programming, sharing job and internships leads and participating in career fairs and recruiting. Capitol Hill Internship Program

The Capitol Hill Internship Program supports selected students pursuing internships on Capitol Hill or in District offices each summer.

Bucknell Public Interest Program

The Bucknell Public Interest Program (BPIP) enjoys the collaboration of alumni, parents, faculty, and administrators working together to educate students about careers in the nonprofit and public service sectors.

CDC Education Program

Alumni and parents take part in a Career Education Program by serving as a panelist, speaker, mock interviewer or resume reviewer in a program/webinar to facilitate job search and career conversations.

Networking Programs

Alumni and Parents hire Bucknellians. They represent their companies at our career fairs throughout the year on and off campus. They list full time and internship opportunities for students. Alumni list opportunities for their fellow Bucknell alumni through the private job board on

Employment Recruiter

Alumni and Parents share internship and full-time leads to our student job board, interview students on and off campus, and host recruiting presentations and workshops.

Bucknell Career Connect

Alumni join and offer to share insights about their career, company or industry with fellow Bucknellians.
