The Department of Music at Bucknell University invites you to apply to the Bucknell Summer Voice Workshop, June 18-22, 2018.

This intensive five-day vocal performance workshop in musical theatre and classical music offers dedicated high school voice students an opportunity to explore the many facets of majoring in music at the collegiate level with specific emphasis on musical theatre and opera performance, acting, stage movement and audition preparation. The workshop curriculum includes classroom instruction, demonstrations, hands-on experience, career guidance, and a variety of other interesting and fun academic activities.


High school students entering grades 9-12 by June 2018 are eligible for the camp. In order to provide an optimal learning experience, enrollment for the camp is limited to 25 students.

Application Timeline

  • Regular Decision Application Deadline: Tuesday, May 1, 2018
  • Regular Decision Acceptance Notification: mid-May 2018
  • Late applications will be accepted only if space is available. No application will be processed until all required materials are received.


Tuition is $250. Some scholarships are available.
