LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell Dance Company will present its fall dance concert Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m. in the Harvey Powers Theatre, Coleman Hall, at Bucknell University.
Tickets are $8, ($6 for senior citizens) available at the door one hour prior to each performance; in advance in person from the Campus Box Office in the Weis Center weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or the Elaine Langone Center Box Office weekdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; or online at http://www.bucknell.edu/boxoffice/
Directed by Kelly Knox, professor of dance at Bucknell, the concert will feature commissioned classical ballet dance choreography by guest artist, Jessica Lang, a former Twyla Tharp dancer.
Faculty choreographers Knox and Er-Dong Hu will offer original choreographic works, and Bucknell student choreographers Michelle Wirkus, Sara Fenstermacher, Corinne Smith, and Rachel Kerchman bring their own unique style to the stage.
Complimenting the program is a costume design team headed by Paula Davis-Larson, scenic design headed by Elaine Williams, and lighting design headed by Heath Hansum.
