LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host the workshop, "Penny Pinching Sales and Marketing Ideas," Wednesday, June 20, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the SBDC Business Education Center, 207 Chamberlin Building, Fifth and Market streets in Lewisburg.

The workshop will be led by Gene Marks, CPA and owner of The Marks Group, P.C.

The author of a penny-pinching column for the Philadelphia Business Journal, Marks was senior manager at KPMG Peat Marwick and a corporate controller for a publicly held bio-pharmaceutical firm. His company has more than 500 clients throughout the United States.

Marks also created the Streetwise Small Business Book of Lists: Hundreds of Lists to Help You Reduce Costs, Increase Revenues and Boost Your Profits.

Registration is $30 and includes the Streetwise Small Business Book of Lists as well as a one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10. Seating is limited.
