As vice president for human resources, Pierre plays a pivotal strategic role in positioning the University as a higher-education employer of choice and in helping Bucknell achieve its long-term strategic initiatives. He provides inspirational leadership to a professional human resources staff responsible for supporting and partnering with University leadership in creating a positive and dynamic work environment. The vice president of human resources is a University-wide leader serving the Bucknell community and promoting an inclusive and rewarding environment for the recruitment and retention of a highly educated, accomplished, productive and satisfied work force.
Cindy Bilger, Director of HRIS and Benefits
Cindy provides oversight and technical support for the Banner HR system and the University's employee benefit programs, including wellness efforts. She responds to internal and external data requests. Cindy serves as the HR liaison with Academic Affairs, Library & Information Technology and the Finance Office. She supervises the Benefits and HRIS Specialists; she reports to the Vice President for Human Resources.
Marcia Cooney, Director of Recruitment and Compensation
Marcia leads the design, development and delivery of effective Human Resource recruitment and compensation strategies to cultivate and retain a diverse faculty and staff. She works in partnership with leaders throughout the University to explore and implement best practices in these areas. She consults and advises division and department heads in addressing organizational and employee relations issues. Marcia supervises the recruitment consultants and the compensation manager; she reports to the Vice President for Human Resources.
Kelley Adams-Verge, Benefit and Wellness Manager
Kelley leads the University's wellness initiative for faculty and staff. Manages the health, dental, vision and life insurance plans; the flexible spending account benefit; COBRA; tuition benefit programs; and new faculty and staff orientations (Getting to Know Bucknell). She conducts leave counseling and exit interviews.
Lisa Adams-Verge, Training and Organizational Development Consultant
Lisa leads the needs assessment, planning, and implementation of staff learning and development programs. She manages the University's performance management program and provides ongoing training to managers and individual contributors. Lisa provides organizational development consulting to managers and staff.
Nancy Berghauer, Human Resources Coordinator
Nancy assists with general HR, recruitment and unemployment compensation administration.
Amy S. Britton, Compensation Manager
Amy maintains the University's cloud-based compensation system; responsible for position evaluations, benchmarking and compensation analysis and FLSA classifications. She completes compensation surveys and facilitates the new position and change of status requests process. Amy eports to and works closely with the Director of Recruitment and Compensation in wage and salary planning and administration of the annual merit process for staff positions.
Brandy Collins, Recruitment Consultant
Brandy manages the University's on-line recruitment and job description system, as well as employment services, including staffing, interviewing, new hire information, offer interpretations and exit interviews.
Kelly Dinan, Recruitment Consultant
Kelly manages the University's on-line recruitment and job description system, as well as employment services, including staffing, interviewing, new hire information, offer interpretations and exit interviews.
Betty Jean Hopple, HRIS Specialist
Betty Jean manages the TIAA-CREF and Hartford retirement plans as well as the Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and Sick Time Transfer Programs. She offers department and web time entry set-up and training. Betty Jean enters all HR Banner transactions, and assists with records management.
Danielle Kraus, HR Specialist
Danielle assists with the health, dental, vision and life insurance plans, as well as new faculty and staff orientations. She is responsible for oversight of University recruitment budget, including general expense questions and moving expense reimbursement. Daniel serves as the University's Tuition Exchange officer.
