LEWISBURG, Pa. – What could Bucknell University’s 26 new tenure-track faculty and CNBC “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer possibly have in common?
Each was the focus of the top two most read news stories posted on Bucknell’s website in 2008.
Leading the way through November was the new tenure-track faculty story. Complete with links to snapshot profiles and photos of each new faculty member, the news story has had an incredible popular run with more than 7,500 visits since being published in September.
The Jim Cramer story has had more than 7,100 visits since being posted the morning after his standing-room Weis Center for the Performing Arts campus talk that kicked off the spring semester of the national speaker series, The Bucknell Forum. The story included links to a complete audio file to the Cramer talk and to an exclusive video interview with Cramer by Bucknell’s student-run Podsquad.
Since publication, the Jim Cramer story has averaged 23 visits a day, while the tenure-track faculty story has averaged more than 107 visits a day.
