LEWISBURG, Pa. — Members of the community are invited to suggest panels to be included in the AIDS Memorial Quilt display slated for Dec. 1 to 7 at Bucknell University's Samek Art Gallery.

Persons requesting a panel to be included in the display should contact Cindy Peltier at or Fran McDaniel at by Sept. 30.

Requestors must provide the number of the particular panel, which may be obtained on the AIDS Memorial Quilt website. For more information, call 570-577-1375.

This is the fourth time a partial display of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt has been exhibited at Bucknell. The displays have included panels representing local individuals who have died from HIV+/AIDS.

Reading of names
The display in the Samek Art Gallery will begin with an opening ceremony at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 1, with the continuous reading of names of those who have died of AIDS.

The exhibition, which runs through Dec. 7, is organized by the NAMES Project Foundation, the Bucknell AIDS Committee and the Samek Art Gallery.
