The Plan for Bucknell, which reflects the work of thousands within the Bucknell community, was approved unanimously by the Board of Trustees on April 29, 2006. It comprises five strategies that will guide us as we work to achieve the University's highest purposes.

Strategy 1

Strengthen the Academic Core

Bucknell will offer an academic program that achieves the highest standard of quality across its liberal arts and professional programs. Bucknell supports innovation and distinctiveness in areas of current and emerging importance and relevance.
