LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University will host nearly 4,000 visitors participating in about 30 conferences beginning June 9 through July 28, in addition to a series of University-affiliated summer programs.

Bucknell-affiliated programs
The University's alumni summer guest program, which offers accommodation for alumni families in Bucknell West, is scheduled for June 8 through July 28.

The summer school session will be held June 11 to July 20. Other Bucknell-sponsored conferences include Engineering Camp June 24-30; College Admissions Counseling June 28-29; Admissions: Shaping Your World, July 8-11; Technology Student Association July 9-10; Workshop for Saudi Engineers, July18-22; E-3 Engineering workshop July 24-27; and a MERCURY undergraduate chemistry conference July 26-28. In addition, numerous students will participate in summer research programs June 3 through Aug. 4.

Visiting programs

Visiting organizations include: Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Youth Conference June 18-22; Christian Missions (adult and youth) July 12-15; PACAC July 15-17; and Renaissance Nutrition July 23-26.

Sports camps include: boys basketball team day June 9-10; girls elite basketball camp June 15-16; Bison shoot-out June 16; girls basketball team shoot-out, June 17; girls basketball individual skills camp, June 17-20; boys basketball college prospects June 22-23; boys basketball individual camp June 24-27; girls soccer camp June 24-28 and July 22-25; girls lacrosse camp June 26-28; water polo camps June 29-July 3 and July 8-12; boys lacrosse camp July 2-4; wrestling team camp July 8-12; boys soccer camps July 8-12 and July 13-16; cross country/track camp July 15-19; field hockey camp July 17-20; and boys baseball camp July 25-28.

The WSY Summer Long Course Classic will be held June 15-17, and the Mid-Atlantic Long Course championship will be held July 17-21 with teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware competing at Kinney Natatorium.

The PIAA football officials clinic will be held July 22. The football junior prospect day is scheduled for July 28. The girls lacrosse clinic will be held July 31.

The summer conferences program at Bucknell University originated as a way to provide year-round employment to university staffs and offers a wide range of facilities in an educational and professional atmosphere.
